One of the objectives of CAM-MEK is to raise awareness and inform about the situation in Northeast Syria, particularly regarding respect for human rights, basic medical needs, and the development of the public healthcare system.
CAM-MEK has mediated the establishment of bilateral relationships between international public institutions and the health authorities of Northeast Syria. Since its inception, official meetings and appearances have been organized between the Health Authority of Northeast Syria and the Basque Parliament, the Basque Agency for Development Cooperation, and the Human Rights Commission of the Basque Parliament.
In addition to official institutions, CAM-MEK has built bridges with other humanitarian agents and local and international associations (Un Ponte Per, Kurdish Red Crescent, etc.) as well as with medical centers and institutions (Clemenshospital, Germany) with the aim of joining efforts and facilitating pathways for cooperation and support between these actors and the public healthcare system of Northeast Syria.
